Through an Ethical Will, you pass on our values, not your valuables.

Through this document, you share the voice of your heart and the legacy of your spirit.

The modern version of the Ethical Will may be in the form of a letter to loved ones, which dates back 3,500 years to Biblical times, an Ethical Will can be as informal as a letter to loved ones. It also can be in the form of a book with photos, a video or audiotape.

Through your ethical will, you:
  • Share messages to future generations
  • Share what you value
  • Express your hopes and dreams
  • Give advice
  • Tell stories
  • Share lessons you’ve learned in life and advice
  • Seek and give forgiveness
  • Express love and understanding
  • Show who you are as a person
An Ethical Will may be given at any time, not just at the end of life. While there is more urgency when there is a serious illness, it can also be created at other milestones in life, such as the marriage of a child and/or birth of a grandchild.

Sue is trained through the Association of Personal Historians to write ethical wills on behalf of her clients, listening to their heart. Also, she teaches Ethical Wills workshops.

What is your greatest gift to future generations? It’s you.

Contact Sue to schedule an Ethical Wills class or private consultation on your Ethical Will.
